I've been thinking about Suzy lately. She has been sick and running a fever. I feel so helpless since she lives so far away. It's hard to fluff her pillow or bring her chicken soup when she is in New York. She has been to the doctor and is on antibiotics, she drinking plenty of fluids, resting, not talking ( as her throat is sore) and being watched over by Tim who adores her and keeps us posted on how she is doing.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Suzy. She loves Shakespeare and flowers and it was fitting she should be in Shakespeare's garden surrounded by beautiful flowers. That's how I like to picture her in my mind ( sitting in a garden full of gorgeous flowers on a summer's day!)

I have favorite pictures in my mind when I picture my friends and family. That's the good thing about pictures. They freeze a specific time, place and incident that you can always bring to mind instantly. Everyone is smiling , happy ,healthy and perpetually young. Those are the pictures I like the best.
