Crepe Myrtle

Back home with the Crepe Myrtle. I'd forgotten how much I miss it. Isn't it funny how you never even notice the things around you till they are not there any more. One thing I'm looking forward to is getting Benne Wafers at the Byrd Cookie Company. I didn't even like them till they weren't available any more.
Another thing I'm looking forward to is going to the Tea Room on Broughton Street with my friends. I've already got my orders for what tea blends to buy.
I'm hoping to be able to ride around the city some and see the changes.
I guess Dorothy was right "There's No Place Like Home."
