We hit the bricks running today.

So much to do, so many people to make contact with, and so little time.

Charlie started out his morning by meeting 15 men for breakfast at 6a.m.

He enjoyed meeting all the guys and they were very interested in our mission work at ETS. So much so that they are considering coming as a group to work some time.

He was really excited at that prospect. We were also able to meet with a ladies

accountability group (some fantastic prayers) and meet up with some of our old friends.

I started on my to do list and we made a run to the Byrd Cookie Company....many tins of cookies and bags of "Shrimp and Grits" later we also stopped by for Happy Hour at Sonic.

Haven't had a lemonberry flurry in a LONG TIME.....is still tasted just as good.

We are staying with Mike and Sandy Wagoner.....Sandy loves to talk as much as I do and our men just sit around watching TV and grunt at each other.....a match made in heaven!

I finally got to go to the big Target in Savannah and bought "The Secret Life of Bee's" by Sue Monk Kidd. Since another "Sandy" in my life is living at the mission and living with bees in the master bedroom walls I'm sure she will enjoy reading it later as they are calling their apartment "The Hive."

We went out to eat at the Texas Steakhouse and I had "Road Kill" sirloin burger with mushrooms, green peppers, onions and jack cheese. The hot out of the oven yeast rolls were almost as good as Becky's.

Tomorrow I am having lunch at Olive Garden with my friend and mentor Anna Betz. I'm sure it will be a long lunch as we have much to talk over. I want to be Anna when I grow up!

Thursday is rapidly filling up with appointments and Yes Becky....Hiranos is definitely on my list! Tea Room lunch is on Thursday. Let me know if there is anything else I can do vicariously for you.
