I'm back in Savannah tonight after a long ride.

It's hot, humid and muggy and the heat index is in the upper 90's.

I'd forgot how hot it can get in Savannah!

I connected with several people by phone tonight and "my dance card"

is really starting to fill with appointments and groups.

It is so good to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones.

This next week will probably be a frenzy of activities and social engagements.

Please remind me Lord that I'm not the conquering hero coming home

but a simple servant with a great task still before me. Amen
