Today is Monday.....Suzy and Amanda and I sorted clothes for several hours and made a few small dents in the Mountain. Guess tomorrow will be more of the same as we will be having a group from Savannah Christian Church coming Thursday. They will be here several days and we are planning on doing two containers simultaneously. One container will be clothing for Tajikistan and the other will go to the Sudan.
Suzy and I went shopping for flowers for the garden. We bought petunias to hang from my old clothes line ( Tim spray painted it...so it looks much better). We also bought a fern to plant in a terra cotta pot that fits neatly in an old beat up chair that had no seat. We didn't have to distress it as time and weather had already done a great job on it.
We also bought a small stone statue.....she looks very similar to the bird girl on the cover of "The Garden of Good and Evil". I guess that is why I liked her so much....she reminded me of some really happy times in Savannah. So she now has a place of distinction in my secret garden.
I really need to take some pictures and call my Beeks to help me post them.
It seems strange to have Suzy and Andy home with out Becky being here too. I love having them here but it does make me miss her more. Hope she calls or emails....she seems to be lost somewhere in cyberspace . ET call Home!

Greetings! I`m here via Carol`s site. I have enjoyed reading your blog. It is such a delightful slice of Americana. What a beautiful and charming place your corner of the U.S. must be. I must come back to visit again.
