Emma's Second Christmas

Lazy Sunday

We are still in New York visiting with Suzy, Tim and Oz. Becky and Emma made it home safely with no winter lay overs. We are missing them but glad they are back in their own familiar nest. I'm sure it will take them a couple of days to catch up on their sleep and recover from massive "family time." Poor Em was just starting to get comfortable around us. We sure are missing her hugs and kisses. What a bundle of joy and energy!

This is absolutely my favorite picture of Oscar and Suzy. I love the huge smile on her face as she holds her favorite little man. This picture always makes me smile!

I'm trying to talk Suzy and Tim into letting us babysit this afternoon. I know they want to see "Benjamin Button" and haven't had a date since the last time I was here. I don't think it will take much persuasion on my part to get them to accept. I know Suzy is going a little stir crazy from being in the apartment for so long. It will do them both good to get some away time.

I have tons of pictures to post and activities to write about. It's much too hard to write about them while you are living them. The family portrait turned out really well which is amazing when you think about all the people and "little people" involved. I'm really very pleased with the results. I even like the picture of me and Mr. Wonderful.

We are having a lazy Sunday afternoon. I'm sure both my boys (Mr. Wonderful and Oz) will be taking naps. Hope you are having a great day too.

Merry Christmas 2008

We arrived last Saturday and were amazed how clear the roads were. We definitely saw lots more snow but the main highways and roads were clear. It is definitely colder here.

We are enjoying our grands. Oscar is growing an inch a month and a pound a month. He is much more alert and responsive and giggles out loud now.

Emma is perpetual motion. Many of our pictures are pictures of her back running down the hallway. She is very curious and loves to blow kisses at us. She is a very busy little girl. She adores her"Boppa" and " Dita." She likes to color with Poppa and loves to watch "Blues Clues". I've learned all the songs and motions to most of the episodes now.

Hope all of you had a merry christmas.
