Fall Findings

Today Beckie and I took our friend Floozie to see the beauty of our neck of the woods. These pictures were taken in Bridgewater and Dayton.....a quaint little town with a large population of old order Mennonites.

I loved this picture of clothes hanging on the clothes line outside to dry. What can be more home spun and wholesome? It turned out to be a beautiful Fall Day just right for laughing, talking and exploring.

One of the local roadside attractions is the horse and wagon demonstrating early toll roads in Virginia. If the horse seems rather docile and cooperative it's because he is made of plastic. You got to admit it makes for a really good photo op! The back of the wagon is filled with the bounty of fall (pumpkins, mums, colorful goards and hay for the horse of course!)

I've driven by this traffic sign for the last three years and every time I tell myself I really should take a picture of it. So today was the day. Not only did we get a picture of the road sign but we also saw a horse and buggy tied up at the hitching post at the Farmer's Market.

As you can see our friend Flip Flop Floozie had a great time exploring the some of the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley. She loved the trees changing colors and I think that smile tells it all. It was a really fun day seeing your city from new eyes .

We are all so very excited about our lovely ladies laughing luncheon coming up. More later today!
