What's better on a Snowy Day in January ?

This is our dog, Sweet Pea.  She is the best cuddly dog on a cold day.  She enjoys taking a nap on my lap or on the arm of my recliner with her head in my lap.  She is not excited about the snow and tries to shake it off her paws.

She still loves to explore her backyard and chase squirrels and birds.  She never catches them, but she certainly makes them move out of the way to safety quickly.  She is missing her daily walk with Dad because of the snow.

At 74, we are very careful when we walk on snowy, or icy steps.  Sweet Pea has lots more energy than either of us and could easily pull us off balance.  Right now, she is content to lie down and relax with her pack.
