Thursday !3....The Perks of Growing Older
1. Kidnappers are not very interested in you.
2. In a hostage situation, you are most likely to be released first.
3. No one expects you to run....anywhere!
4. People no longer view you as a hypochondriac!
5. There's nothing left to learn the hard way.
6. You can live without sex but not your glasses.
7. You sing along with elevator music.
8. Your eyes won't get much worse.
9. Your joints are more accurate meteorologist than the National Weather Service.
10. Your secrets are safe with your friends because they can't remember them either.
11. Your supply of brain cells are finally down to a manageable size.
12. The things you buy now won't wear out.
13. You can eat supper at 4 P.M.

#9 Ain't it the truth! Fun list. Happy Valentine Day!
LOL those were GREAT!! I enjoyed reading them.
Happy valentine's day! :)
hmmm...I'll have to let you know if this is true when I'm 80 or so ;-)
Ha Ha. Getting too close to home. I wrote about aging yesterday.
Oh my gosh! I love your list. Especially #1 and #2 - they really made me laugh. Fun list!
LOL! I do #7 and #13 now anyway!
LOL! Now... the problem with #11 is that when they drop below a certain level, then they all just start floatin' around in there and get lost and bump into each other at the intersections and stuff... causes a whole NEW degree of unmanageable!
Very funny! Happy tt!
I can relate...does that make me old??? lol. Happy TT:)
Cute list! Thanks for for the chuckles.
Happy TT!
Too true. Way too true.
LOL I love #1!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I sing with elevator music, and eat early. Darn, I'm getting old. ;)
Ha! I hadn't considered being somewhat safe from kidnappers on my list of growing older advantages. I'll add it. Happy TT!
I like #10..you can tell your friends your secrets because they will never remember them either..smile!! Cute..Nice to hear about Jerry and Becky's anniversary too..Always good in this old world..Sandy
Hahaha ! great!!! so true !! Except for rapists. Imagine last year a young man of 31 was arrested because he had raped in two hospitals 3 women of more than 80 years old ! So we still have hope !!
Sooo funny. I love those kind of lists... they are a hoot!
AHHHH, ain't it grand!!!!
This was a great list - sort of the opposite of a TT I did on 13 Reasons Why It Sucks To Get Old - now I have to look at my old fart-ism in a whole new way, lol!
My TT is 13 Pieces of Vintage Valentine's Art - oh, and some of my pop art hearts too!
Happy Valentine's and TT!
#6 Say it ain't so!! LOL
Cute 13!
Ouch! So funny and painfully true (smile).
Just wanted you to know that your prayers are SO appreciated. Warren is much better...just sore from throwing up!!!
I loved #10 too!! These were all so cute and true!!Thanks for all your visits! AND your prayers! Love and hugs Grams
Okay, you cracked me up (was there a slight edge of hysteria to my laughter as I recognized myself? You betcha! LOL)
TT#26- A Lil Too Straight?
I laughed so hard at number ten that I had to share it with Betty.
Tee hee hee...cute!
HA! It freaks out my daughter that the music of her youth is now elevator music! Can you imagine how Freddie Mercury, if he had lived, would be feeling now that his song "We Will Rock You" is used by Wal-Mart. Oh aghhh
Most of the ones you posted are so true :)
Oh my word...that made me LAUGH! I hope you're doing well...I appreciate your comment over at my place. I've missed you too.
Hugs,
Susan
