Great list...Here is a good one:
"middle age is when broadness of the mind and narrowness of the waist change places." smile

Such wonderful wisdom for a girl who is turning 40 this year! :(
Amen...great list! Happy TT.
GREAT words of wisdom! My favorite...Pain either destroys or transforms.
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope Floozie is NOT right about that! I hope my mind does NOT become narrow as I age! I like an open mind... sometimes.
This is a FABULOUS list Daisy! One of your best ones yet! You know... I remember bein' [] this close to #2! I could almost feel it... I could ALMOST TASTE it! And then... WHAM! Full House! (better than two pair I guess!)
I've learned 6 & 12. I'm not sure I've FULLY embraced all the others! Yet.
#5 is the hardest for me!
Daisy, Daisy, Daisy, you are ONE WISE woman! I have wrestled for years with "the need is the call". I actually heard a pastor say it once. I do think we sometimes refuse to get active while we float in a sea of "needs" waiting for the call. On the other hand, I have taken on responsibility before that was simply plugging a hole in a ministry and it wasn't my passion. Then I found myself worn out and unable to do my best because I was not working in my area of passion.
Love ya,
Susan
Three and eight work together for me. Thanks for this. God bless.
Great list, Daisy!. Thanks!
When I became middle aged I thought my life is over, lol ! and now at my third age I realize it has just started !
Some sound advice there.
A wise list.
wow.... you have such words for all of us to think about and live it everyday..I am going to print this list up and place it on my fridge to read it daily...thanks for a soul meaning Thursday Thirteen..Love ya,

AMEN Sister! Very good lessons to learn.
Thanks from dropping by my place, I am always glad to see a comment from you!!
Every need is not a call. What a great reminder! Remembering that will help me when I can't get anyone to sign up to help with the preschoolers at church. Instead of complaining, I'll just pray for God to put that call on people's lives and help me and them to recognize it!
The older we get the more we understand what's important and what's not; hopefully.
Great list!!! I love your floating daisies!
A good 13 list.
