These softball sisters are my darling daughters . Who knew they would grow up to so gorgeous?
We suspected that neither would grow up to be professional ball players.
I remember one ballgame : Since the girls were young and inexperienced.....
One of the rules was: The 10 run rule.
The side is retired regardless of outs if one team scores 10 runs
in one inning! (No lie)
I remember Suzy being exasperated out in left field
( yes, out where the dandelions grow)
looking at me in the stands and saying, "Haven't they scored 10 runs yet?"
Yes, I was the mother that made her daughters take piano lessons, play soccer and softball.
I was also the mother that was the girl scout leader, home school mom, and chief cheerleader.
Those days are gone now.
Except for being their cheerleader!
