The Snood Queen Lives!

What do you do for fun and excitment?

I play Snood, a computer game where you shoot at little "Sesame like faces".....get three in a row and they fall. Shoot all the snoods before they fall and you win. Not a hard game. But extremely addictive.

I started my addiction simple enough....my kids said, "hey mom, try this out!" so I did and it was actually fun. I quickly advanced from level to level. I began to bank shots and soon whole rows and whole sides of the puzzel where falling. Wow, look at me.....I thought.....I'm getting good at this.

The next thing I knew it was 2 o'clock in the morning and I was still shooting quaint little faces with my cannon. I posted big scores under the name of "Snood Queen" but wondered why I was so tired in the morning.

I knew I was addicted the night I stayed up all night to play "just one more game." There is an actual setting you can hit that says, "one more game" and it will shut off automatically when you lose. But the computer doesn't explode or announce it a loud voice for all to hear....."Hey idot, it's late, go to bed!" So......I thought, what's to keep me from turning the computer back on and playing another game, then another....well you know the drill.

I tell my husband I play to unwind from a stressful day. He seems to think that maybe I should be more interested in cleaning the kitchen or making supper. So I casually and sweetly say, "I need to kill something.....which would you prefer....you or snoods?"

Play on he says ......grabbing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Smart Man!
