Sisterhood Rocks!

What a great quote! I got it out of the opening chapter of Girls in Pants (The third summer of the Sisterhood!) Yes, I admit to having read all three of them. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was the first and was a best seller. I read it the summer we moved here. I was moving and had finished reading the Yaya sisterhood and sisterhood sounded pretty good when you are leaving your friends and launching out in a faith-based ministry.

I laughed, I cried, I loved the book and have looked forward to every summer to a new one. The movie just came out and I am waiting till Sandy Ihrig moves up here to go see it. She gave me the second summer of The Sisterhood and even though she hasn't read them she will want to see a Sisterhood movie after the trauma of moving away from all the familiar.

Speaking of sisters.... mine is supposed to be coming today with my mom and her sister! I've cleaned all day and wow...I love the way the house looks! It gave me a good excuse to do some spring cleaning. I still need to take down the curtain and wash them but let's not get too carried away. The laundry is caught up, the summer lines are on, and my office is decluttered.

I need to make a promise to myself. I need to start reading my magazines and throwing them away afterward. I promised myself to turn the TV off at night. So often Charlie and I are in separate rooms watching different TV shows and we aren't working on developing our relationship or even having one. It would be nice to even read in the same room and snuggle up together. NOTE TO SELF......make it happen!
