Quote of the Day: "Man is born broken. He lives by mending. The grace of God is the glue." Eugene O 'Neil
We are finally starting to see signs of spring in the Shenandoah Valley. We are seeing the grass trun green, calves and lambs, daffodils and spring flowers. The temperatures are starting to warm up and auction season is upon us. We have been blessed with over 100 volunteers this past month and 530 hours for service. God is good!
My personal goal is to be able to send a clothing container out every other month. In order to do that we need approximately 1000 boxes per container. That breaks down into 500 boxes a month, 125 boxes a week and 30 boxes a day! We have the clothing. It's just labor intensive. I have six groups coming in this week. It means a lot of extra work for us hosting the groups but it is the best time to get work finished.
I miss having a personal life. I miss my friends, I miss going out to lunch, or to a movie. I miss even getting going out to dinner. I miss my kids and I even miss just being able to stay home look out my window and dream. It looks like our schedule will only get busyier as the weather gets warmer. (Sigh) Oh Well!
