Quote of the Day...."The ordianary arts we practice every day at home are of more improtance to the soul than their simplicity might suggest. " Thomas Moore
I was thinking that every day seems to be just an extension of the last day. So I decided that I needed to pick out at least one moment of the day that made it different from the rest. Today was our first Prayer Day at ETS ever! It seems sad that it took 14 years to set aside a day just to pray for needs of the mission and its staff as well as the needs of the missionaries we support. But rather than dwell on the negative lets focus on the postive. It was a great day!
Everyone participated and we had many activities that moved small groups around the building and gave everyone a chance to pray with other people. We didn't get all the activities done that we had planned but that was good too. It's always better to be overly prepared than to run out of material.
Elwood Shrader came in to man the phone so we could meet together. I'm sure we will be doing some catch up work tomorrow but today was truly glorious and one that I will remember for a long time!
