Weary Warrior

I saw this simple comment on my desk calendar and it started me thinking. I have so little time to reflect and review the week and I've missed the luxury of just sitting at my desk, musing over the lessons that the Lord is teaching me. Seems like I miss opportunties to apply these lessons and that makes me sad. I have to argee with these simple principles....especially the live simply, expect little, give much. I tend to get into trouble when I reverse these rules and simply live, expecting much and giving little.

I'm tired tonight....physicallly, mentally, and spiritually. I truly feel like a weary warrior but then I know the wonderful restorative quality of a good nights sleep. (Primal screams always helped too!) I'm winding down and my kittens are winding up.....playing inside a box. I have to laugh at their antics and how little it takes to make me smile.
