What I Miss

They look so cute when they are asleep

There is supposed to be a picture of sleeping kitties? If you are reading this and don't see sleeping kitties I assure you that it is not one of those pictures that if you stare at it for a long time sleeping kitties pop out at you. It simply means that I'm closer to my goal of putting a picture in but not there yet.

I seem to be a point and click kind of girl! My learning curve seems to be going downward in a rapid spiral. I have learned new skills at work and am rapidly becoming the PR person.

Persistence seems to be a virtue that I am learning to develop as I get pulled away time and time again to do other projects. Seems like I spend most of my time just putting out fires! That probably explains why after 50 years the only toy that survived my childhood is my Smokey the bear!

I am so looking forward to the weekend. This will be the last whole weekend I have off for the next 6 weeks. I enjoy having groups come and help at the mission and I'm really good at greeting them and making them feel at home even when I wish they were! But at the end of the day I still go home with out any friends to call up and stay "What to catch a movie with me?"

I really miss my girls.....nothing like catching a Chick Flick with two cute chicks. I always get great service at the hard ware store whenever my girls are there....the guys seem to come out of the woodwork!

I miss Boy Wonder, he always keeps me laughing and cleans up any left overs.

I miss going out to lunch with a girlfriend, going to Walmart or Target, even getting overpriced coffee at Barnes and Noble. In some ways I really miss my old life.....but mostly I miss me! I've changed so much that I hardly know me anymore.

I think by getting the two cats that I've chosen cats over friends. Lots of people have allergies to cats.....but if that was the choiceI guess I'm glad I have the cats and Spot. They are always glad to see you and love to curl up on your chest or even your face. They even like you when you step on them because they are wrapped around your feet. When you are upset they cuddle closer and never say bad things about you.

Speaking of Cats.....I need to go feed them. Hope you enjoyed the picture. If not maybe next time I'll succeed!
