Uh oh, What's that?

Yikes...just came back from my 6-month checkup and I'm scheduled tomorrow to have the bump on my neck excised to see if it's Cancerous!  In this picture, I am pointing to the wasp sting I got on my neck.  The small mass is on the other side of my neck below my extra chin.  Hope all goes well.

                                                                                         Epilogue:

Just got back from the doctor's office.  It wasn't nearly as bad as I had imagined.  The worse part was being stuck several times to inject lidocaine to numb the area.
The actual cutting it off was a breeze.  I didn't feel anything.  I did take a while to quit bleeding as I do take blood thinners.  He had to cauterize several places to get them to clot.  The smell of burning flesh isn't my favorite scent especially when it's mine.

Now the wait begins.  Is it benign? Cancerous?  Is it over or just the beginning?  Only time will tell and because it is Memorial Day weekend it will take longer.  Now to tell my imagination to take a break and escape into a good book.
          Epilogue to the epilogue:

I went through this procedure three more times before I got an all clear diagnosis.  It wasn't fun but it wasn't horrible either.  I ended up with this.  I look like a victim of a slasher movie.  I told Charlie he had better be nice to me or I would tell everyone that he did it to me.
