Thanksgiving 2020

Thanksgiving is a time of getting your family and friends together to celebrate the bounty of the harvest.  It is a time of reflection and overindulgence.  This year because of the spread of Covid the gatherings are much smaller.  We are fortunate to have Suzy, Tim, and the boys about 10 minutes away.  Charlie bought a honey glazed ham last week so as to avoid crowds.  Tim made a delicious turkey, potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, and asparagus.  We brought ice cream to go with the apple pie and sparkling grape juice.

The food was delicious, the conversation interesting, the decorations and table setting beautiful, the laughter contagious, the leftovers appreciated, the pictures treasured, the memories unforgettable.

Before we went home to have our food-induced coma.  We got this great photo with the boys on their porch swing.   We missed the rest of our family but any day with these guys is a great day.
