Friday Five Fave

Susanne at Living to Tell the Story hosts Friday Fave Five in which we share our five favorite things from the past week. Thank you Susanne for hosting this inspirational sharing game.
1. I'm waiting for this little cutie and his parents to come for a visit. Oscar and his mommy will be staying with us while daddy is at a conference. This Diva and Poppa are so excited for some Oz time. They can't get here soon enough for me. He is talking now and his mommy tells me he says, " Diva, Poppa, Let's Go, let's Go"
 2. We had a great visit last weekend with my 83-year-old fiercely independent mom. (See story below). She is amazing. She lives alone, does her own yard work, and always makes my favorites whenever we visit. We always enjoy our visits.
3. Mr. Wonderful is definitely feeling more energetic despite the very physical demands on him this last month. We really feel that the gluten-free diet is helping him gain his energy back. He has lost weight since he has not been eating bread and processed foods. He says he's ready to run after Oscar now. Oz definitely loves his Poppa. I love to watch them play together.
4. This girl loves anticipation almost as much as the actual event. I have been getting out prayer letters and making lunch dates with friends in Savannah. We go every year to visit our home supporting church and visit friends and small groups that pray and support us. We always get to stay with my friend and fellow blogger "Flip Flop Floozie". She's such a gracious hostess and puts up with our ridiculous schedules and makes sure I get to do my favorite things. (I always have a list!) When Floozie and I get together it's always a gabfest and lots of laughing.
5. We just made a final plan for going to Canada to see our Emma Bunny Girl. It's almost a year since we have seen her and this Diva thinks that's way too long. We will miss having them here this year but we are excited about interacting in her world. It will be fun to play at her favorite park and meet her friends. She is growing up much too quickly. Isn't she a cutie? Hope your week was fun and filled with friends and family. Till next week!

The Laziest Daisy of them all!
