Friday Feast ....#132

Play along?

Appetizer
Where on your body do you have a scar, and what caused it?
I have a scar right behind my left knee. We had just moved into a new house and I was moving a box when I accidentally cut it on a broken shelf that someone had left on top of another box. It was a deep cut and bled a lot so I ended up getting stitches. (Mr. Wonderful says, "You're not really injured unless you need stitches!).

Soup
What is something that has happened to you that you would consider a miracle?
Most recently walking away from an accident that totaled both cars without injury. God has also multiplied our money and provided us with 2001 Subaru Forrester for less than half of list price.

Salad
Name a television personality who really gets on your nerves.
Currently it's hearing about Anna Nichole or Brittney Spears. I feel sorry for them and hope Brittaney will get the help she needs while she still has an opportunity to be a positive influnence on her children.

Main Course
What was a funny word you said as a child (such as "pasketti" for "spaghetti")?
My mom had a friend that would always call me "Snookums". She said one day I got really mad and said, "Me not Nookums.....Me Caffey!"

Dessert
Fill in the blank: I have always thought ______ was ______.
I have always though liver was nasty. ( It seems to be the only food that gets bigger in my mouth while I'm chewing it! Augh!)

Ewwww on your dessert! I HATE liver. My husband loves it but I will not cook it for him. Bleck!

Great feast. Thanks for dropping by.

WELL! First, let me say that I think you are absolutely CORRECT on my "miracle factor" -- I seem to get way more than my fair share! Jesus loves me, and so do you! ;) (and I love you both!)

Now -- when do we get to see a PICTURE of the NEW CAR!??? I'm SO excited!!! Whooo hooo! At least tell us what COLOR it is! I'm SO happy for you! God IS good! ALL the time!

I also have a similar story to yours about the snookums thing. When I was little people would ALWAYS tell me what beauuuutiful curly RED hair I have. Well... one day my mom said I became really belligerent and told some woman that "my hair is not wed, it's OWANGE!" LOL! Funny though... I STILL consider my hair "owange"!

It is always such a joy to visit your blog page and to read the goings on in your neck of the world.

I think we are all going to focus on the liver comment and the purfect way you described it but I will take your word for it because I just will NOT!! put it any place near my mouth......cricky! no way.

Enjoy your day and keep warm.

Great feast Caffey. I'm glad you got a new car, but I wouldn't have wished that accident on you. Thank God you're okay, and the other driver too.

I'm sick of Anna Nicole and Britney too. I don't even follow those stories, but i can't seem to get away from it.

I don't think I've ever eaten liver.

I am with you on liver.....YUCK!!!! Hubby likes it but if he wants to eat it he has to go to a restaurant!
You and I both experienced a miracle in regards to auto accidents. I am very glad God protected you because I don't want anything to happen to my buddy!
Take care Caffey....you my fwend!
