Lost hearing aides (What did you say)

Attention prayer warriors:  Do you remember the
story of the lost coin, the lost  sheep, and the prodical son?

Well both of my hearing aides are lost.  Charlie is my finder, I am a notorious loser of everthing ( up to and including my mind and my temper).  They are insured but honestly both of them?

I am extremely careful with checking on them when wearing a mask and taking it off. I am a creature of habit and take them off every night and put them in a drying container with the batteries out, which is right by my chair, and leave my glasses on that table too. Today they are not there.

Oreo isn't talking and Mr. Wonderful and I have been searching the house with no luck.  Please pray that God will open our eyes and help reveal  the lost hearing aides.  Thanks in advance.

This picture pretty well describes my inner brain as I write this.

Hearing Aids

Tuesday morning I got hearing aids.  I knew my hearing was deteriorating so the time had come to do something about it.  We went to SAM'S club and bought a membership so we could buy a good hearing aide without having to pay a huge amount of money.

I had a hearing test and was fitted for hearing aids.  I am having difficulty adjusting to all the amplified noises assaulting my senses.  Yesterday we watched the boys and I went home with a headache from all the noise.  I am pretty sure I will need them adjusted lower to save my sanity.

Wearing a hearing aid in the days of COVID also means wearing a mask that fits around your ears.  Taking off your masks interferes with the hearing aide that fits over the ear with the battery behind the ear.   Charlie has already accidentally pulled his hearing aide out of his ear just by taking his mask off in the car. Fortunately, we were able to find it since it landed on the seat.

I went the following week for adjustments.  I think I will like them much better with the extra levels added.  Little boys can be quite loud when excited but speak softly at other times.

We have been helping with online classes with the boys so it is good to be able to hear their questions.
