To my sister

This is a shout out to my baby sister Bev. She would not let me take her picture so here's the next best thing....her refrigerator magnets. Bev has worked with the airlines for the last 20 plus years and always asks for a magnet from all her friends and family when they travel.

These are just her international magnets. I have no idea how many other magnets she has acquired. They say three of anything is a collection so this is an uber collection for sure.

Thanks for giving us your buddy passes so we could get to Canada and back. Being "bumped up" to first class was a treat too! Thanks for feeding us and letting us stay at your apartment. Thanks for getting us to and from the airport and checking out which flights were not over booked.

You made our trip possible and I will always be grateful.
Thanks Babe.....Love Ya!

Happy Birthday Baby Sister

Today is my sister Bev's birthday.

Bev was a surprise. My older sister and I were in our teens when Beverly came along.

It was like having a real life baby doll to play with. I'm 14 years older and my sister was 17 years older.

When I was 16 and flirting with a cute boy.....this rascal would get angry at me for not paying attention to her and run to me with her arms outstretched saying, "Mommy, mommy, mommy." So not funny Bev!

Her sense of humor has never changed but I love her anyway.

Snowmen

It's True....I spend a lot of time looking out my window. The snowman was a gift from my baby sister. She made it for me in her stain glass class as she knows I really like fat white men! I like the contrast of the setting sun behind it this afternoon. I mostly just like that I was home and able to watch the sun set from my window. See it really doesn't take a lot to make me happy.

I finished a few more projects at the mission today and started a few more. I'm getting better at taking pictures and posting them on my web log. It's actually fun!....Look at me I'm learning new skills!
