Grateful for friends

Sometimes I like to stop and think about the women who have got me here...

The ones who have walked with me (through some beautiful seasons, and some muddy ones too). The ones who have held me while I cried. The ones who have said that thing that I really really needed to hear right at that moment. The ones who have shown up when it really mattered, maybe with a meal, maybe with a hug. The ones who have cared, like truly cared, about the little and the big things going on in my life. The ones who have celebrated with me when life was extra magical. The ones who have made me laugh so hard it hurt. The ones who have loved and sewn into my kids. The ones who don't care when my kitchen or my life is a mess. The ones who have championed me. The ones who challenged me on things I needed to be challenged on. The ones who teased
me because they know me so well. The ones who've texted me songs, encouragement, hilarious shows, and Brene Brown quotes. The ones who've supported me in whatever way they could.

There is an army of women who have loved me, walked with me, and inspired me. Some of them are older than me, some are younger, and some are just my age. Some have been with me for short seasons, some have been with me for just a moment in time, some have been with me for years and even decades.

I'm just so very grateful for each and every one.
