Dear Friend,

Thank you for loving me                        

You have loved me through thick and thin, and then you have loved me through thicker and thinner.

You have loved me on my mountain tops and in my joy, and you have loved me in my valleys and in my pain too. There aren't any words to tell you just how much that's meant to me.

You have loved me when I was a really good friend, and you have loved me when I was held up like a recluse in my house because the anxiety was more than I could manage in the outside world.

You have loved me when I was fun and you have loved me when I was stressed out, defensive, and irritable.

You have loved me when I was celebrating, and you have loved me when I was grieving.

You have loved me when I was the life of the party, and you have loved me when I couldn't make it far off the couch.

There will never be anyone or anything that can replace a stick -with-
you friend.

Because life is full of ups and downs and joys and struggles and you have stayed.

And I have stayed too.

Finding friends that will stay and won't vanish at the first sign of conflict or hardship...is one of the truest most beautiful gifts we will ever receive earth-side. Being the friend that stays is one of the purest forms of love we can ever give.
