Sunday Seven....End of the Year Edition
1. The birth of our very first grand child Emma . I love this little person so much. Who knew that the love of your life would be short, bald and toothless? Miss Emma turns one year old January 18th. The down side is that we don't get to see her as often as we would like since she lives in Canada but you can bet this Diva just renewed her passport for 10 years so I can make the trip.
2. God gave us a replacement car after I totaled our car in February. We were able to buy the car through an auction and have it checked out mechanically. The car is bigger, newer, less miles and totally paid off. God is so good!

3. Both Mr. Wonderful and I went through surgery this year. Both were successful and both are totally paid off despite not having any health insurance. We are so grateful for assistance from our church, Christian doctors who reduced their fees and help from our supporters.

4. I am blessed to be able to walk ( even with slight limp) after being hit by a car. Some days are better than others but even on bad days I can use a designer cane!

5. I am blessed that we were able to get the whole family together twice this year. Once in May, in New York and just recently in November at our home in Virgina.
6. I am blessed to have blogging friends all over the world and to have had the opportunity to get together with several this past October in Savannah.
It was great fun and a wonderful opportunity to meet some of my favorite people. Thanks for letting me tag along Melli.

7. I am so blessed to have my comfy little nest in the country with my Mr. Wonderful. The welcome mat is always out, there's always an extra potato, there's always and extra chair....there's always an extra cup of coffee we'd be glad to share!
It has been a very exciting year for us with lots of highs and lows but we praise God for every day that He has given us and for the opportunities He has provided. We look forward to what 2008 will bring. Dim the lights, cue the music and exit till next year!

Your year has certainly been one of ups and downs. I think it's amazing when you look back sometimes just how many blessings you can see through the rough spots.
