I am the proud owner of a collection of Christmas earrings. I have plastic candy canes, wreaths, red high-top tennis shoes with a Christmas teddy bear sitting in them, bells, angels, bows, snowmen, snowflakes, and Christmas trees.
My collection was started by a little blond hair boy who bought them for me at the school's "Christmas Store". Every year he would add to my collection being very careful not to repeat the same ones I already owned.
I love Christmas and any gift the children picked out was always highly praised and worn with great pride. Now that they are grown I still love looking back and remembering how proud Boy Wonder was to have "picked them out" all by himself. He would probably disown me now if he saw me wearing them. His fashion sense has greatly improved now that he works in the Big Apple. If you hear jingling in the background it's just me with my sleigh bell earrings looking over my collection and trying to decide which pair to wear next. Did your children ever give you "special" Christmas gifts?
This picture of me and Poppa taken on Christmas day 2020 has me wearing light bulb earrings given to me years ago by boy wonder.

Awwwwwwwwww! What a cutie...and what a sweet heart to always remember his Momma at Christmas!!!
And double awwww, how sweet!! Those earrings are priceless! My little boy brought back a heart-shaped soap he bought for me once during a holiday with my in-laws. I love it. It's intact!
What a cutie pie! I know what you mean about gifts from your children. They are always SO special. I treasure mine as well.
Hope your week is blessed.
Love this!! One year Bill gave me a huge red glass bowl! He started to give me chocolate but saw this and took and back and said my Mom doesn't like chocolate's!! Of Course I do! He was about 12 years old when he did that!! Hugs Grams
I know that they probably did give me special gifts. One was always making me a card or something like that. i know that Becky made me a plate one year and I still have it hanging on the wall. Andy was such a cutie!! he still is though..

Well.. Girlfriend sounds like you are set in the earring department.. the only thing you need is the Christmas necklace that lights up with bright colors.... Hugs, Baba
That was so thoughtful of him. I'm sure you cherish those earrings.
That is just a SWEET story. I love it that you still have them. I'm guilty of purging my stuff every now and then...and not having things like this saved.
