Do you ever get this "sinking feeling" when you head off to work on Monday Morning? Today starts a marathon of activity. Pacing is important because this is a marathon and not a sprint.
In a sprint, you go all out as quickly as you can holding nothing back. It's a sudden burst then it's done.
A marathon goes on and on.....you must pace yourself as it is a race of endurance. If you use all your energy early on there is nothing left for the finish. I read this morning where one man died at the Chicago Marathon because of the intense heat. Marathon's aren't for the weak!
So today is the start of the week that I've been dreading all weekend. It's here! It's now, it's in my face and so it's time to dig in and "Just Do It". I'm sure there will be "sand traps", delays, and frustartions along the way.....but then if it was easy then anyone could do it!
Pray that I learn to be content in what ever circumstance I am in......(Sigh) Boy! Am I Enthusiastic!

Did you ever notice, Daisy, that the dread is almost always worse than the actual activity? I think it's just human nature and evidence that you are thoughtful and perceptive by nature. With God's help you'll get through your good work this week, then hooray! a fun weekend with the blog ladies in Savannah!
