Bubbly Baba

Baba and me at the Savannah Tea Room (dressed up ladies or fan dancers? ) You decide!

I met Baba in Savannah last May. My Friend Floozie started Baba blogging and wanted me to meet this little dynamo. Baba is a poster girl for Curves . She has lost 50 pounds and now with two new knees she is a hurricane force all on her own. Baba and Floozie hosted the Blogger Babes Blast and each made us all feel very welcomed. Baba had all of us over for a Sunday dinner and let me tell you.....this southern belle really knows how to bake a delicious ham! She and her sweetie, Fred, are very gracious and charming. They have a beautiful home and Fred is a very handy guy to have around when it comes to home improvements.

Baba always kept up with us and was usually in the middle of any event. She loves to laugh and is a riot at a slumber party. Baba opened her home to Susan and Susan helped her learn some new tricks on her computer.

Baba reminds me of my favorite pop corn....Kettle Corn, a little sweet and a little salty. She is certainly remarkable lady and my most unforgettable character. I'm sure God gets a chuckle when He thinks about her , I know I do.

What a great description of Baba! I hadn't even really read her blog very much before I met her, and didn't know much about her, but she ended up stealing my heart before the week was over...she's such a charmer!! I loved her kind heart and her sense of humor, and yes, she can bake an awesome ham!
Love you Baba! :)

YES INDEEEEEED! Energetic little thing, ain't she??? I had a hard time keepin' up with her! LOL! I don't care much for kettle korn - so I think of her as a little Fire Ball! A little spicy - a LOT of SWEEEEET! She's a doll for sure! (but not one of her porcelain babies...)

BTW - I've got your CDs - I'll get 'em in the mail as soon as I can!

I had to laugh because last week when I realized what you were doing, I thought, "When she does Baba, I wonder if she'll use the word 'Bubbly'?" And lo and behold, you DID!

She's such a great person and my life was certainly enriched for having met Baba last week.

Hugs,

Susan
