Sunday Seven.....Things that I've been waiting for forever.

1. I don't know about you but I am not a good wait-er. I was really laughing when I found this book with the title "Waiting for daisy". Poor Mr. Wonderful has spent a lifetime doing the same thing. I'm never early and he believes that if you are not 15 minutes early you are already 30 minutes late. You can imagine the tension that goes on at the Daisy Patch.

2. I've been waiting for Vacation Time forever! ( Well at least all summer!) Mr. Wonderful is officially off till September 14th. We've already been to the library and he has lots of books that he is really excited about reading. He's on the front porch swing now reading a Clive Cussler book.

3. I've been waiting to go to Canada to see my kids and grand baby . I'm looking forward to the cooler temperatures, fall colors, friends and of course spoiling one special little blue eyed girl (and her brown eyed momma!)

4. I'm looking forward to taking tons of pictures with family and friends and especially a nice one with us with Emma and her parents. We took some great shots in May and Emma is growing so quickly we need to get more.

5. I'm looking forward to cooking for my family. It's a lot more fun than just cooking for the two of us and is always well received and appreciated. I hear that Emma is a really good eater now.

6. I'm looking to spending some quality time with this little one who has grown whiskers waiting for her Diva and Poppa to come! Come on now folks, who could resist this face?

7. I'm waiting to take a plane to Canada. We leave on Tuesday and this girl is already packed. Can you say excitement ? These are the free tickets we got in December when we volunteered to give up our seats.
Well that's all from the Daisy Patch this week. One excited Daisy getting ready to leave for Canada and one very tired Mr. Wonderful ready for a relaxing break. Cue the music (Oh Canada...) dim the lights, check on the water and food for the kitties, make sure the doors are locked and you'll have to run to catch up with me next week in Saskatoon!

You're just a little excited Daisy. I hope you have a wonderful trip. Take lots of pictures for posting!
Well.. Girlfriend, you have had plenty of waiting situations : Waiting for your knee to heal, for your special trip to Canada, your court settlement, for your trip to Savannah, and to see your kids.Have a safe and fun filled time.I will see you when you and Mr. Wonderful get back home. Love ya, Baba
I love the little bathtub whiskers. Tubby-time and then reading books before bedtime was my favorite mommy ritual. Now I do it with my little nephew. Nice post, Daisy.
You can just tell about the excitement in this post!! EXCITEMENT!! You!! I cannot believe it!! Ha!! You write excitement all over!! I know how happy you are to get to see that little EMMA!! She takes the cutest pictures! She is just a ham!! I always stop by to see the next picture that Becky has taken of her!! You have a great and relaxing time!! If you get time blog and let us know that you are okay!! Miss you..sandy
Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer true (do you know that song?) Sounds like you've got a lot to look forward to. Being a "wait-er" gives you lots of time to build up anticipation! Have a great trip and build up a sustaining supply of good hugs on that beautiful baby while you are there.
Oh Mr. Wonderful and I are in complete agreement on the TIME thing! WOW! I'm an early bird too! Luckily for me, Dennis is as well! But, oh my kids! NOT ONE OF THEM! Sheeeesh!
Dennis loves Clive Cussler too -- he's read ALL of his books!
I am NOT going to run to catch up with you next week... I'm just going to slip myself into your suitcase and come along for the ride! (ya might have to pay a little extra for the weight on the luggage thing...)
That baby is too cute for her own good!
Have a great trip, Daisy!!!! I hope you'll be able to get online once you get there...I don't wanna get to missing you TOO bad!!! Give Emma Bug a smooch for me!!
Your #6 is so cute. He really is irresistible.
Your nameplate is already ready. Come over to pick it up.
Oh I hope you have a wonderful trip and that the moments when the "waiting is over" are total blessings to you.
Hugs!!
:-) Susan
I'm all excited for you:-) I'm afraid I live quite a ways from Saskatoon...I'm in Ontario, two provinces from there! I just checked and there's 1,214 miles between me and Saskatoon! If I lived nearer, you bet I would plan to meet you:-) xox
Thanks for visiting my seven list!
Seems like I'm a waiter too. Right now the number one thing I'm waiting on is several home renovations we have going on at the same time. Seems like every project we begin leads to another one that must be completed first.
My daddy says the best part of the trip is the EXCITEMENT in waiting...I can 'feel' the excitement in your writing...HOW FUN!!
Enjoy it all!
I loved the list!!

Hope you have a wonderful time, especially with the bearded one.
