Sunday Seven....Surviver Edition!

1. This past weekend was spent filling a 40 foot sea container with items for a Bible College in Ethiopia . Among the items shipped was 10,000 pounds of library shelving, and over 5,000 pounds of books. All of the items had to be hand loaded so we are very tired today but grateful f
or all the help .
2. My job is to record everything loaded for the shipping manifest and to get a piece count of the items. Mr. Wonderful is the load master so handles each and every piece and puts it in position so there is no wasted space. I got sunburned from my efforts and Mr. Wonderful is really physically tired.

3. Monday morning I need to finish the paper work on this container and the final spaces will get filled. Friday the whole procedure starts all over again with another container.....this time for Bolivia with 300 computers and monitors. We will be gathering and staging equipment during the week to fill it.
4. Looking over our schedule this week we have come to the conclusion we are strictly in "survival mode". I haven't said this in a long time, but" if we can live past Saturday we should be alright!" ........ Till then it's eat, sleep, work.

5. October is a busy month for us. These two containers back to back, take a heavy physical toll on us. I am so looking forward to seeing many of you in Savannah this month. Mr. Wonderful has his job interview in North Carolina on October 21st. Keep us in your prayers.

6. On a happier but sadder note .....Emma keeps growing and developing without me! Her Momma reported going into Emma's room to check on her, only to find her sitting up in bed all by herself. Crawling can't be far behind for this active chick! Your Diva sends you a big "shout out!".

7. Well, that's life from my little piece of it.
We are busier than we should be and are definitely feeling the effects of it. We did take the time to have "A Prayer Day" at the mission on Thursday before all the loading and physical work began. We are convinced that is why things went quickly and much better than what we anticipated.
My posting may be sporadic during the next few days because of the increased work load. If so, don't worry....just breath a prayer for us!
