Sunday Seven.....Waiting paid off!
1. Don't we look like like we are in absolute misery, eh? All that waiting paid off as we arrived safely on Tuesday and have been on the go since. Little Emma is a delight and her smiles turn us into big piles of goo! She loves the extra attention and her Mama appreciates the extra hands.

2.Mr. Wonderful is finally starting to relax a little. He pushes himself physically to the point of exhaustion and this has been a good break for him. He just got an email about the position he applied for several weeks earlier. They are interested in him and want him to submit a plan of action . He is so excited about this opportunity that he just beams when he talks about it. Please keep him in your prayers.

3. The divine Miss M (Melli) had a wonderful blogsphere progressive birthday party. She was surprised and celebrated all in the same day (not an easy trick). Thank you to the seven ladies who pulled off this wonderful tribute to our friend and partner in crime. It's not every day you can plan a party, set it in motion and leave the country. All the waiting and planning was nearly as fun as the event itself.

4. Congratulations to Jane and Warren (Cozy Reader) on the long awaited arrival of grand daughter Zoe. Babies are such a blessing from God. I know Granny Jane is loving every minute of it. How wonderful to be able to be an active part of this little girl's life.

5. Speaking of waiting and surprises.....What a lovely surprise for Melli and her family with the addition of a lively three year old to love and pamper. Adoption is a wonderful way to match children with loving families. I know that Melli has wanted to be a grandmother for such a long time and I am thrilled for her.
6. This is me reading to my Emma (something I've always dreamed about!) God is so good to give us the desires of our hearts! She was more interested in eating the book but it was fun for me! What am I saying....just being with Emma is fun for me!

7. Spending time with Becky, Jerry and Emma....priceless. We thank God for the free tickets that got us here and the waiting (though difficult for this impatience Diva) only makes our time here sweeter.
That's all from the northern Daisy patch. We are enjoying the trees begin to turn colors and the cooler temperatures. We love the splashes of color all over Saskatoon. Friday will be here all too quickly I'm afraid. It has been nice meeting friends of Becky and Jerry and catching a glimpse of their world. Catch up with you next Sunday.
