Friday Feast 157

Appetizer
Say there’s a book written about your life. Who would you want to narrate the audio version?

Christine Lahti

She does the voice overs for Oil of Olay and I think she has a great voice.

Soup
Take the letters from your favorite kind of nut and write a sentence. (Example: Perhaps every avenue needs understanding today.) PECAN ( Perhaps everyone can answer now!)

Salad
If you could go back in time and spend one week in another decade, which decade would you choose? 1950's.....Happy Days Version. I would want to have all the knowledge I have now though. It would probably be like the movie "Peggy Sue Got Married."

Main Course
Name a song that brings back memories for you.

"Grow Old Along with Me"....by Mary Chapin Carpenter

written by John Lennon.

Grow old along with me
The best is yet to be
When our time has come
We will be as one
God bless our love
God bless our love

Grow old along with me
Two branches of one tree
Face the setting sun
When the day is done
God bless our love
God bless our love

Spending our lives together
Man and wife together
World without end
World without end

Grow old along with me
Whatever fate decrees
We will see it through
For our love is true
God bless our love
God bless our love

Dessert
Do you prefer to wash your hands in cold water or warm water.
What a silly question? Warm Water!

The 5Oth ? I am not so sure there were no mobile not even telephone, TV or panties ! I would prefer the 60th with the Beatles, mini skirts, white long boots and high hair does, lol !Now we only have the Rolling Stones as left overs !

I lived in the 50's and they were great!! I was just a kid but remember them well. Things were so laid back then. I wish I had known that then of course!! Great feast!! Miss you

You ought to throw a sock hop party here at the Daisy Patch. It will be fun!

Oh, "Happy Days"!!
And I agree with your dessert, there is only one way to wash one's hands (and cold water doesn't belong to the procedure!)
