Thursday Thirteen..."G" Words that describe me!

"G" Words that describe this Lazy Daisy

1. Gracious: characterized by kindness, and warm courtesy ( that's how the dictionary defines it) to me, it's just part of my southern roots!

2. Grandmother: (I prefer the term Diva) but adore my little Emma!

3. Gentleman: What I raised my son to be, and charming characteristic of his dad!

4. Gabby: tends to talk excessively (well you know you were thinking it!)

5. Genuine: authentic, the real deal ( I'm not an ax murderer. )

6. Girl Scout: I was one, became a leader, raised two others....and how bout them cookies?

7. Green Beans with slivered almonds: My favorite vegetable dish!

8. Gifts: What I consider all of my friends.

9. Grits with melted butter: Good any morning!

10. Garden: What I've missed the most this summer.

11. Green Grass: Love the smell just after it's been mowed.

12. Grapes: I have a grape arbor and last year we made grape jelly.

13. Guest: I love company, come on down!

Awwwww Geeee! You forgot Giggle-butt! But the rest are right on!

Guess what? I finally remembered to give Dennis the Jerky I bought down there -- yea... I gave it to him yesterday. He got to eat ONE piece. Jewl got into overnight and ate BOTH bags -- all of it! No WONDER she was so thirsty this morning! So... now I have an "errand" for you to run for me! Having tasted that ONE piece, Dennis LIKED that Jerky! Can you pack it in LEAD and then mail it to me??? LOL!

Good Gracious, God gave us a grand grandma to guide us in you! Like they say, "once a Girl Scout, always a Girl Scout." If you are what you eat, I'm one-quarter Tag-alongs. Lucky I like green beans too!

My issue with girl scout cookies is the serving size. I mean, come on, two cookies. Everyone knows a serving is one box! Or at least half a box!

gee daisy, thanks. Now I'll be craving thin mints all day!

Hey, Daisy--As a Northerner, I can't say I'm all up on grits. But I had scallops served on crab and cheddar grits. It was so good, I almost weeped. So, I can say definitively, I do like grits. Nice post
