Just got back from the doctor's office. I saw the orthopedist today and got no new surprises. He wants me to start physical therapy and do the exercises at home to strengthen the knee and get more mobility in it.
Mr. Wonderful found a new physical therapy practice not far from the house and I already have an appointment for Monday afternoon. We have a court appearance over the accident that morning so it should be a full day. We should have some answers soon in regards to payment of our medical bills.
I see the surgeon in another month. Hopefully by then I won't be doing my one legged ballet. I hobble around the house now without crutches but get tired quickly. I limped along in the grocery store holding on to Mr. Wonderful's arm for support. It was nice for me and really made him slow down (he has long legs and tends to walk ahead of me!) He has always been very protective of me and the children but lately he has been extremely caring and tends to treat me like fine china. (Hey, I could get used to this!)
My goal is to have two functioning knees by the middle of August. My baby is starting to crawl and this Diva needs to be able to keep
up with her.
Thanks for asking.....I don't say much about it because progress is slow and who wants to hear about a droopy dangling daisy. I'm am sooooo ready to be "an upsey Daisy"

Hello dear Daisy:-) I'm back from my trip and now trying to catch up with everyone's news!! Happy Belated Anniversary to you and your hubby...may you have many more years together:-) I'm so glad to hear that your knee is starting to get better and before you know it, you'll be able to keep up with your grandbaby! hehe xox
Good I have been wondering all day how your appt went. I did not know that you also had an appt about the accident too. I talked to Baba today and she is so happy that she is off and going now. She is doing so well. She can drive and go back to Curves now.
Keep me updated...Love Sandy
Darlin', even when your droopin' you're still an UPSEY Daisy! And I'm happy as long as you're not an OOPSY Daisy! ('nuff oopseys!)
Hurray for PT!!! Give Knee a little jump start! And remember... if you decide to KICK the therapist - use the OTHER leg!
Glad to hear you will have PT...It really helps even if there is some pain.Off of my walker for two days now and I can feel my legs and muscles having to work harder. My first day at Curves went slowly; I don't what to push myself too hard. You do get tired quickly.Plus my H & H is still on the low side.We will overcome our bumps in the road and be stronger for it.Take care.
Love ya, Baba
I am very interested in your return to "knee" health, and sure you will keep us posted. Glad to drop by after all this time.
Wish I had my OWN computer fixed.... living on borrowed RAM.
see ya
Hi Daisy. Hope your therapy will have good progress soon. Just keep it up and hope that by middle of August you have reached your goal. Take care! Happy weekend!
