Yesterday went really well. I was feeling much better and not nearly as sore as I was the day before. I was able to bear weight on my left knee and was excited that I might really be back to normal by the weekend when my kids and grand baby fly in from Canada.
I left my bed and was sitting up in the recliner. All was right with the world until I had to go to the bathroom. The recliner is lower than the dining room chairs and so when I struggled to make it to my one good leg I heard a very loud POP followed by lots of pain.
Long story short, the knee did not get any better during the night and has been painful all day. I can put no weight on it and the pain medication though helpful keeps me nauseated. So I called the orthopedist and have an appointment tomorrow morning at 8 am. So hopefully I should know what's going on by tomorrow.
Beckie Fitzgerald, my neighbor came over and did "Daisy Sitting" this afternoon. I was able to take a shower and wash my hair (my one major accomplishment of the day!) By the time I finished I was totally exhausted and in some major pain. Who knew that knees were such a wonderful invention!
Keep me in your prayers....hopefully some answers are coming.

I am glad to hear that you are letting others take care of you for a change.
On a lighter note, I watched Music and Lyrics this weekend and loved the song that went "Pop went my heart"
OH, sweet sister, my heart goes out to you. You will be in my prayers as you visit the doctor. I hope all is well. Remember, you can still hold Emma while sitting!!!
Weasels and knees... ya just can't trust 'em!
Dear God, Daisy's knee is NOT like Humpty Dumpty... please put it back together again! Amen.
Popped over here from Jennifer's site, so sorry about your accident and that you are in pain. I hope the doctor can help you out but am sure the best medicine will be Baby Emma! Hang in there!
I hope it's nothing serious. My prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.
Daisy - It will get better.
Well...Daisy, when I left on vacation,You did not have to be the accident Queen...I pray your knee checks out OK in the morning.
Love ya. Baba
Ok, ask your doctor for a prescription for Phenergan, it's for nausea and it you can take it with the pain pills. That way you can take the pain pills and get some relief without being sick!!! Tell them Dr. Rose orders it!! ;) Seriously though, it's worth it, I take it and it works! There's no reason for you to be nauseated.
