A new first...

Our little Emma is now four months old and we have been waiting all this time to finally meet her. Of course we have missed many of her "firsts" so it is always a thrill to be able to be able to witness a first. Today we watched Emma eat her first solids.....rice cereal. The verdict is still out as you can see from her face. It was so much fun to watch her little face as she felt a spoon in her mouth and a different texture than what she is used to.

I'm glad you got to participate in the joy of her first taste of food. Babies provide wonderful thrills in the simplest ways.

Awwww...what a great memory you made with her! I remember the first time my boys tried cereal...they were like little birds! She looks like she's having fun.

How precious is she! It's great to make memories like the firsts. First time they eat solids, 1st time they roll over, crawl, sit up, walk.... God bless you and your baby granddaughter.
