Have you ever wondered would it would be like to STEP up on the winner's podium? To represent your country in some sport and win? To stand proudly while they played your national anthem? Well my kids got that opportunity and as you can see they were all thrilled, ( well maybe not all of them!)This is our daughter Suzy (First Place), son in law Tim (Second place), and Canadian son in law Jerry (3rd place) at the Olympic park in Canada hamming it up for the camera. When I thought of steps, I though this would be a great picture for the hunt.

Lol ! that's great ! Even I would climb on these steps, of course n°1 although I am very lazy !
I love the little swipe of a tear your son-in-law is doing...so theatrical! Great pic!!
Have a great weekend!
And the Olympic Gold goes to....You! For taking such a great shot! Really creative use of the theme and thanks for stopping by to visit me earlier.
LOL :D great choice for steps! Happy hunting :)
Nice idea. Also, your Canadian son-in-law pretending to wipe a tear really makes the picture for me. :D
He is wiping away a tear... I suppose it is because they are playing the Star Spangled Banner and not Canada's anthem? ;) This would be as close as I ever got to "standing on the podium." My secret fantasy was always to be an ice skater.... even took lessons once.. I was good at the falling down part.
That is a cute and appropriate photo. Good hunt, LD.
Great steps! :) Very cute. It would be lots of fun to step up on the podium. :)
That is so cute! I love the flowers and flags, just like the real Olympics ;)
What a wonderful idea and great choice for the theme, Lazy Daisy!! Whenever I see such events on tv and the athletes' emotion I can't help it and let my tears flow too, silly me.
But it must be so overwhelming to be able to step up on such a podium. Happy weekend!
Hi Daisy,
I'm a new photo hunter from Singapore.
Cute! I love the theme of your photo... hehe
Yes good photo for the word today!! Thanks for stopping by today and also for correcting my use of the word for those steps in downtown Savannah. I thought I was wrong but could not remember...You know getting old once again and forgetful!! Have a great weekend, Friend.

Very cool shot... They all deserved the gold!
Interesting choice for the theme. I'd probably cry if I ever stepped up on the podium for my country (Canada) too.
Nice twist on today's theme! The tear wiping is a nice touch. :)
That is a wonderful pic!! I love it! :)
That is perfect. Yes, I often wondered when I was young what that would be like. I wanted to do it. Just never worked out. I'm thrilled that your daughter can experience it!
Perfect for the theme! Original too.
