My thoughts and prayers are with the friends, and families that lost loved ones at Virginia Tech. We think as parents we are making a sacrifice to assure a brighter future for our children. How tragic that 32 people lost their life because they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Please pray for the students and faculty that will be returning back to classes next week.
I live in a very Mayberry kind of town. We are some what isolated and we believe we are insulated from the world. How sad to know that this could happen "just down the road" from our little hamlet.

Everyone thinks they are shelted!! I have always thought that..then we get robbed twice and they find a body almost behind our house!! MAN!! who knows..MORE Cancer again Daisy. One you know. I will write..Sandy
Having college age kids, I can't even watch the news coverage anymore. It's horrific.
The story is horrific to listen to here in NY. I can imagine it gets worse the closer you are to it. Those poor families.
Yea... we do feel sheltered. Until something happens. Unfortunately, with our "small world" no one is sheltered anymore. But we do have prayer - and we know how to use it!
