Sunday Seven....What a week!

I saw this at Cozy Reader's site and decided that I wanted to play too. Sunday at the Daisy Patch is usually spent in rest and reflection so this works out well for me. Hope you have a great week!

Sunday Seven: A weekly meme for giving thanks and/or for noting important events in our lives.

If you would like to participate just click here for all the details...

1. God is good even when we aren't. On Tuesday I was involved in a car accident that ended up "totaling " both cars. No one was hurt aside from some bruises and being sore for days. I still hear "the crunching of metal " in my head but it has made me very thankful to be alive and well.

2. The insurance company has been wonderful. We ended up getting more money for our car than what we expected as well as being able to use a rental car to get around town.

3. We h
ave been praying about a replacement car and were thrilled to get an unexpected check that will certainly help increase our options. We have a dear friend who buys cars for missionaries at auctions and fixes them up so he will be purchasing a car for us this week.

4. Today is Becky and Jerry's 2nd anniversary. How thankful we are for our dear son-in-law and for our precious Emma (now 3 weeks old.)

5. This has been the coldest week that we have had so far this year. We have a wood burning stove outside th
at heats the house and the water. How wonderful to be toasty warm in our little nest and to have a great supply of wood.

6. This week is Valentine's Day and my Mr. Wonderful's birthday (February 15th) How thankful I am to have this special guy in my life for the last 33 years.

7. I am so thankful for praying friends that have encouraged us through this very hard, emotional week.

Great post, Daisy! I love the idea of listing the "Sunday Seven"...I may have to start this next week...I already had my "Sunday" post in my head this week.

I've missed seeing you "out and about"...but understand it's been a long week. So glad that you're well and that you're receiving blessings in the way of the car.

Hugs!!

:-) Susan

I am SO glad you decided to play! I cannot tell you how thankful I am that you are OK. You and I both have been in accidents recently that could have been so much worse. God certainly protected us.
As for the little "Maxine" cartoon on my blog.....no particular reason, I just thought it was funny!
Stay cozy and warm, you are loved.

Ohhhhhh, I LIKE this meme! I'll play it next week!

THIS week I think the TOP thing I'm thankful for is that you were NOT hurt in that accident, and that God DID answer our prayers!!! (Amen)

And let me wish Becky and Jerry a VERY Happy 2nd Anniversary! How blessed they have been in just 2 short years! I wish them many more!

And Boy Wonder is still in my prayers too!

I am also most thankful that you are well and alive and still kicking, laughing and being all of our friend!! That was the best thing that happened last week!! I like this game too and will play as soon as I get my life settled down some. We had a great weekend and hated to come back to reality. It was nice and quiet and just peaceful there at the camp site!! I never thought I would be camping in FEBRUARY!! Say I see Mr. Wonderful has a birthday 5 days before mine!! I did not know that!! WOW!! Sandy

That was a nice post. I was encouraged by your post and would like to join too. I'll be emailing Carol a little while. But before I do this, what kind of posts do I have to post?
Thanks for the visit.

Thank you for your visit. I managed to find you on Google! Wow - it does sound like you have a guardian angel looking after you. I also like the name of your ministry "Equipping The Saints." Have a great week - and stop by anytime!
