My Day was bad, His was worse!

Yesterday evening before we were ready to go to bed Mr. Wonderful gets a strange look on his face and suddenly asks me...."If something really gross happens to one of the kids would you want to know?"

Now I ask you what kind of question is that to ask a Mom? So I start asking him questions. Where any of the kids hurt? (no) Did they hurt anyone? (no) Have you talked with the child? (Yes) Are they doing everything that is feasible for the situation? (Yes)

Since the child has specifically asked him not to tell me I trust his judgment but remind him he really needs to follow up on the situation or I'll be mad.

I go to sleep thinking gross....maybe gross is finding a mouse nest in your stove. It may mean eating something spoiled and getting food poisoning or having really bad diarrhea.

So this morning I was very surprised when I read this.

Don't tell mom but tell the Internet! Kids, you got to love em!
