- My friend Flip Flop Floozie is visiting me from Savannah, Georgia. I've been trying to get her to come see me for the last 3 years.
- Her darling hubby drove way out of his way to deliver her to my door so we could have about 4 days together while he is helping his brother remodel a kitchen in Indiana.
- To get her to come I had to promise her that she could meet some of her favorite bloggers in this area.
- The first blogger was simple.....she's my neighbor and photo hunting buddie Beckie (A Child of God) Floozie wants to pick her brain about fine tuning her blog.
- The second blogger was agreeable but harder to co-ordinate . In order to meet up with Melli ( Insanity Prevails) we are both driving 2 hours to meet half way in a city that neither one of us knows much about.
- The third blogger knew about our meeting and sent her greetings. Lady Bug of (Lady Bug Crossings) lives in Northern Virginia so I left her a message that we were meeting in Winchester and asked if she was any where close by and would she, could she , meet up with us on Friday.
- Lady Bug is coming and seems to have more knowledge of the area than the rest of us. So we are all converging on the Winchester Mall on Friday about 11 o'clock. ( in front of Sears, by the Toys'R Us in case you are in the area and want to join us!)
- I am billing this as "Laughing Ladies Luncheon" or Girl Gab Fest 2006.
- Mr. Wonderful seems to think that there is safety in numbers and hasn't asked me if any of these women are AXE Murderers......(You aren't right? Melli, leave your machete at home please!)
- Last April I got to meet up with Yellow Rose, Cozy Reader, and Jen of (Happy at Home) and had instant friendship based on simple exchanges from reading their blogs. All became extended family long before the dessert arrived.
- Can you imagine 5 Laughing Lovely Ladies all together under one roof? Of course there will be pictures and the event will make for excellent blog fodder in all 5 of our blogs.
- This was very hastily planned but sounds like loads of fun. Don't you already pity the waiter that will have to take 5 pictures with 5 different cameras shortly after taking our orders?
- So, if you are in the Winchester Virginia area and are free at 11 o'clock on Friday come join us in the parking lot of the Winchester Mall. Wear a daisy so we'll know you are part of the group!

Awww shucks! I was in eastern Virginia just in September. We went to Williamsburg. If my DH would ever give me some decent vacation time (we only had 4 days) I could have tried to meet up with Carmen.
Of course he would think I was totally off my rocker to try to meet up with people off the internet.

LOL! .... no wonder Mr. Wonderful keeps a close eye on you.... *G*

Sounds like a great time! We had a readers weekend once of 7 friends who'd met online, and we had a blast.
Can I tell you that I have tears in my eyes because I can't be there? I'm so sad. But have fun without me, go ahead and enjoy, really I insist! LOL You five fabulous ladies have a wonderful time and take lots of pictures! We will have to plan a big get together for the Spring..call it the "Fabulous Diva Follies!" What do you think?

Sounds like a lovely idea.... getting ready for a visit from my roaming brother, so not in for a trip... where is Winchester.... in reference to Roanoke, Williamsburg and Virginia Beach?
