Guess What? Great News! Our oldest daughter is coming for a short visit today. She is flying in to Richmond from Canada this afternoon.
We had just sent her a care package of all of her Savannah treats and items from the Mennonite Farmer's Market.
Guess that box made her really home sick. The best news is that she was able to use her frequent flier miles so the trip was much less than the normal fare.
We can keep her till Wednesday. Mr. Wonderful thinks she coming home just to see him. (silly man!). I just smile and say, "Well, of course she is dear."
This Daisy is looking forward to some good ole "grrrl time". Which of course will include shoppping, Chick-fil-a, Barnes and Noble and other stores they don't have in Canada.
The Daisy Patch is looking a lot brighter and I'm sure there will be lots of giggling and late night talks.

That is wonderful. I'm sure you can't for that day to come. Like all mothers, we are all anxious to see our children.

Daughter visits are always fun, well most of the time. There are those few days of the month when cranky hormones ruin things. But, watermelon will cure all. (My girl is coming for the weekend too, I think)
