Peppermint Ice Cream!
Did I get your attention?
In our household it can't be Christmas until there is peppermint ice cream.
Peppermint Ice Cream only appears in the grocery stores around here at Christmas time and it is usually scooped up (pun intended) right away by other peppermint ice creamaholics.
We always have to buy two.....one to eat now and one to hoard and slowly cherish as the holiday season approaches. 
It's a Wonderful Life is another simple pleasure that we enjoy. It can't be Christmas till we have watched it at least two or three times!
