My Favorite Craig Story

This is a picture of our friend Craig Post.

Craig has been at ETS for the past 3 years. Today is his last day so we had a farewell lunch for him and a going away card signed by all of us.

Along with lunch usually everyone remembers their favorite "Craig Story". So here's mine.

Craig was mowing the grass on the playground and while he was mowing he clipped the riding mower against the monkey bars. He knocked the tailpipe off the mower and sparks began to fly. In a panic to stamp out the grass fire Craig jumped from the mower and hit his forehead against the jungle gym. With his head bleeding and in somewhat of a daze he runs to the mission dock where the rest of us are loading a container yelling , "Fire, fire!"

When we see Craig he has blood gushing from his forehead and we react to the blood thinking he has hurt himself and must have a concussion as he keeps yelling "Fire, Fire!" The nurse in me tries to medically intervene while Craig gets more and more agitated. We say," Sit down and let us help you. " He keeps saying, "You don't understand, there is a fire and I need help!"

By then the guys understand that there really is a grass fire and take out the fire extinguishers and rapidly put the fire out. This picture was taken shortly after all the activity and after cleaning up the wound. Craig has provided us with many "Craig stories" and we will miss him. We wish him the best in his new ministry.
