Does a beautiful setting make you look better?

I wonder.....The Berry Barn just a few miles outside of Saskatoon is a fabulous setting. Gorgeous flowers, eye popping colors, striking contrasts, gentle breezes, great food, stimulating conversations, and shopping too! I actually like this picture! My hair looks pretty good (Becky highlighted it for the reception!)

I'm smiling, and relaxed. This was the first whole day of being with Becky and Jerry and I have 7 whole days before I even have to think about leaving them.

There is a broken down wagon in the background. It looks country and I love country! ( Plus I'm thinking I look better than the wagon!) .... Maybe not, but I'm thinking I do.

I'm wearing blue. I always look good in blue...it makes my eyes sparkle and makes them more noticeable. Blue is my favorite color.

My face is only mildly pink and not a deep shade of red! It's a hot day and like most "lilly white southerns" I haven't had a surging heat wave cross my face yet. I like to refer to the phenomena as " my inner child playing with matches".

There is good contrast in the picture. Me, and the countryside flowers. Me in blue, contrasted agaisnt a red barn and a green wagon (all primary colors). Me, looking larger than life and knowing that I'm not as big as the big red barn!

Yes, I do believe that a beautiful setting does make you look better. (Now, I guess I'm stuck with having to carry around a fake back drop every where I go. (sigh) Or better yet, continue being the picture taker!
