Not your typical Saturday

Ahhhh Saturday, a day of rest and relaxation...Not! Today we completed taking down Christmas decorations except for the snowmen and the village. I'll probably leave them up till I decorate for spring. I even cleaned out the closet! That's not to say that all the clutter is gone .....but I do feel good about putting the decorations away and being ready to face a new year with a clean house. The house actually feels bigger with the trees gone.

Suzy and Tim probably won't get in till midnight tonight. They had a wonderful time in New York City. They have mixed reviews on the school but at least they have seen the campus and talked to several people at the college.

I'm concerned about Connie Shippy tonight.....so much has happened to them in the last year or two. Her email stated that the teacher that has been working with her in school died over the holidays and that she is really overwhelmed with the kids and the stress . Lord, bring her your peace (the peace that passes all understanding)....amen!
