December 11, 2020, Dear Dad, Thank you for installing stair treads for me to help me get up and down on the stairs. Mom says you put them there to help me go up and down without falling. Thank you. That was good thinking.
The hardwood floors are hard on us old dogs. It's really bad in the morning when I am in a hurry to get my food. Thank you for not laughing when my legs slip out from underneath me and I crash on the floor. Don't tell mom it's embarrassing. You keep my secret and I won't tell om when you take a tumble. Note from Mom: 0re0 is having several teeth extracted this morning as well as scraping off years of tartar. He won't be happy not getting any breakfast. We have to be at the vet's at 7:45. His procedure is at 11:15. We would appreciate prayers and good thoughts sent his way as this will be traumatic for both him and us.
Follow-up Note: Just heard from the Vet. Oreo is awake and doing well. The vet pulled 6 teeth but his breath is minty fresh now. This is a major improvement!! We can pick him up at 3:30. We are so thankful that we can get rid of the infection in his mouth that was affecting his vital organs.
