Charlie and I have been married for 38 years. We got many nice gifts when we got married but I have never had a stand mixer. I still use the small hand mixer I got from my sister years ago.
A week ago Charlie called me and asked me if I would like to have a pink Kitchenaid mixer and I jumped at the chance.
I made cookies yesterday and it was so much fun just to watch it mix. This particular model is pink for breast cancer awareness and money is donated for cancer research with each sale.
Blue may be my favorite color, but this Daisy is tickled pink to have this new addition to my counters.
Today is April 2020, I no longer have this mixer. I gave it to Suzy our daughter years ago as she is the baker of our family and has 3 growing boys to bake for. I am still using the small hand mixer I got from my sister Barbara 47 years ago. We have greatly downsized and my hand mixer fits in a drawer not taking up valuable counter space. The mixer pictured was my dream appliance, the one thing I thought I would never own. It was a dream come true but a short-lived desire. We didn't need the extra calories, nor did I have the time or energy to bake. I am glad it found a good home. Diva
