This is me with my very handsome son Andy. As a belated birthday/Christmas present he delightfully surprised me with a wonderful dinner and tickets to Mamma Mia!
This was my very first Broadway play and I loved it. My children grew up with the sound track of ABBA playing in the background. Not only do I know all the songs (so do they!) What a great experience to share it with Andy and Rachel.
Rachel met up with us for dinner at a Sushi restaurant ( yes, I actually ate raw fish and lived to talk about it!) I preferred the vegetarian avocado and cucumber version. I was so thrilled to meet "the girl that has so totally captured my son's heart" that the food was secondary.
Rachel is a sweetheart. All of us are crazy about the girl. She spent Thanksgiving with us and went with Andy and me to the play. Oscar really loves Rachel too. He loves to bat his long eye lashes at her and give her a coy smile.
Rachel is an actress and has a wonderful singing voice. She graduated from TCU and is 23 years old. She loves the Lord and is just as beautiful in the inside as she is on the outside!
I told her that I have been praying for the girl that Andy would marry since he was born. If this is indeed the young lady then it will be a wonderful answer to pray for our family. Doesn't she look like she just fits into our family?
The time went all to quickly. Andy and Rachel will be spending Christmas in Texas with her family so this was the only time we will get to see them during the holidays.
Thanks son for the time of my life.
Love ya,

AWWWW.... that is so sweet! Watching a play on Broadway is awesome! I am glad you got to do that!
Love it, Daisy!! She's so pretty and looks like she just "belongs" in your family. I pray for my kids spouses every single day, too!
